Milagro Winery | Romana Ca | Mallory & Lance

Mallory & Lance's story begins in 2015 at Mallory's workplace when these two caught each others eye and soon began dating. In just a short time Lance knew Mallory was the one and wanted to Marry her. He popped the question in Santa Barbara under the stars on a beautiful deck while the two were enjoying a weekend gateway. She of course said "YES!" Here we are today in Beautiful Southern California witnessing the day these two Vow to say "I Do" For a lifetime. I met this sweet couple in Tustin for their Fall Themed Engagement shoot in October of 2016. I had a blast shooting with them then and couldn't wait for their big day. Here are some beautiful pictures my second shooter McCkenzie and I captured of the day along with questions and answers from the Bride & Groom.

A. What was your vision/ style for the wedding?

A. My vision for the wedding was

simple and elegant, that was my only vision. I didn’t want a bunch of colors or accessories,

I wanted something that was beautiful in itself instead of being crowded with decorations.

The fact that we found Milagro and it really is a decoration in itself made that vision really

come to life.

Q. What kinds of flowers did you pick for the arrangements?

A. We used my favorites which were, hydrangeas, baby breath, and white roses all tied with eucalyptus.

Q. What was your favorite moment of the day?

A. Lance: My favorite moment of the day was standing at the front of the isle at the ceremony before you had walked out with your dad. I was excited, nervous, and for the first time it all came together in my head that soon I would be married. All I wanted to do was see you in your dress, and I knew the moment I did I was going to start to cry. ( and I did) It was like a scene from a movie, having all our family and friends in front of me and I just wanted you by my side.

Q. Describe the ceremony and what made it special?

A. What made the ceremony so amazing was just where it was and who we were surrounded by.

It wasn’t just the fact that it was outside on this beautiful field with the trees but also the

fact that we were surrounded by our family and friends while Lance’s amazing uncle married us.

Q. What was your favorite moment of the day?

A. Mallory: My favorite moment of the day was right after we finished our vows and walked down the aisle together. It was the moment that I got to really appreciate my first moment with my new husband and I just remember standing off to the side with him for those few seconds before everyone came up to congratulate us and just being on cloud nine.

I love seeing my work framed at my clients weddings. It is the best feeling ever!

"Take One Its Yours"

Q. What was the cake flavor?

A.We had a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting that was perfection. I am not a fan of a lot of frosting or super sweet desserts and contained neither. My sister had made a bunch of amazing cupcakes for my oldest sister’s wedding, so i asked her to make my wedding cake, which she didn’t appreciate, but did it like a trooper and it turned out better than I even imaged! Thanks sis.

Q. What advice do you have for brides planning their wedding?

A. Breathe. Planning a wedding on

your own is like a part time job! It sure as heck didn’t help that Lance and I worked full time,

were house hunting at the time and trying to plan all of this in six months. Go big or go home right? When it was all over and done with, I have no idea why I stressed so much over the silliest of things! I couldn’t even tell you what our centerpieces looked like or what appetizers my mother snuck into the day and honestly it really didn’t even matter. What mattered was that everyone had a good time and that I got to walk out of there hand in hand with the one that I love.

Lance & Mallory, From the start you guys where nothing but pure joy to work with! Had such a great time with you two!

Best Wishes <3
